Certificate IV in Disability will give you additional skills in disability support that you may need to widen your job options, and get jobs or promotions in a range of disability, health services, and community care providers.
During this Cert IV Disability Support course, you will gain a range of critical skills to provide advanced care for clients with disabilities. You will learn to facilitate empowerment, ongoing skills development, and community participation in individuals with disabilities. Additionally, you will gain skills in how to follow person-centered behavior supports, develop person-centered service
responses, and support the independence and well being of clients. You’ll also learn how to provide support in the home, and support relationships with carers and families.
